Turkey 90-Day
Rule Tracker

Enter the date you last entered Turkey. See exactly how many days remain, when you must exit, and whether you're at risk of overstaying.

How the 90-day rule works

Turkey operates a 90 days in any 180-day period rule for visa-exempt visitors and those on tourist e-Visas.

This means you cannot simply stay for 90 days, leave for one day, and return for another 90 days. The 180-day window is rolling — the government looks back at the previous 180 days to calculate your total presence.

Overstaying by more than 10 days automatically triggers an entry ban on exit. Overstaying by more than 30 days means a longer ban.

Overstay penalties 2026

1–10 days Fine only, no ban
11–30 days Fine + 1 year entry ban
31–90 days Fine + 2 year entry ban
90+ days Fine + 5 year entry ban

Need to stay longer?

A Turkish residence permit allows you to stay legally beyond the 90-day limit. Ikamet can manage the entire application process.
